-- Stage II Sexual Recovery --
New Group Forming this Fall

Matthew Whaley, C.S.W., A.P.T
PRESENTS:

Recovery OF a
Sexuality that Works

We need to be released from the chaos of our full-blown sexual compulsions and addictions. But it is easy to negate or fear our sexual energies when trying to stop the chaos. Special attention is required to learn how to use those powerful sexual energies and navigate the vast middle ground between the extremes of sexual anorexia and sexual compulsivity. Addiction is driven by our needs and our traumas. How do we stop the addiction and still honor the needs which lie under it? How do we heal the traumas which create and fuel the addiction?

Join a group of like-minded men in recovery FROM sexual addiction who are ready to explore a new focus on recovery OF a fully-expressive sexuality that works. The group is intended to be a highly effective supplement to 12-Step recovery work, providing a safe space to address deeper issues – and perhaps not for someone just beginning sexual recovery.

GROUP LIMITED TO 8 PARTICIPANTS.

* The Institute for Authentic Process Healing
The Institute for Authentic Process Healing (IAPH) is a nonprofit, growth and healing program that has evolved from various psychotherapies, the recovery movement, spiritual traditions, and the experiential therapy movement. Working with a two-stage model of recovery, the Institute’s focus is recovery of Self – recovery of emotional, spiritual and sexual wholeness. IAPH seeks to dissolve barriers to innate holism by using the Powers of Authentic Process, Community Based Healing, Shared Intentionality, Shared Belief, and Grounding through Resource. Institute programs are for anyone seeking a path of personal growth and healing.
IAPH provides an extensive internet website – www.theinstitute.org -- containing articles and other presentations to provide a vision of reducing suffering and promoting possibility.
