Free Introduction to Somatics for Boundaries

Wednesday December 4th at 5pm EST 2pm PST | Recording Sent Afterward

In this intro to somatics gathering, Nick Werber will teach individuals and practitioners how they can introduce somatic (body-based) practices to help identify boundaries and detect and respond to boundary breaches.

In this workshop Nick will share:

  • How the body signals when boundaries aren’t working either because healthy boundaries aren’t in place, or because they aren’t being respected

  • The most common reasons a person might struggle to set and maintain proper boundaries and what it looks like

  • Give you a set of practices to help you tune into your body’s signals, build clarity around your needs, and most importantly cultivate support and confidence around setting healthy boundaries

  • A little bit about the lineage of the practices shared, where they come from and why they’re helpful

  • A closing with some recommendations for how people can go further if they want to get trained and even certified to offer somatic practices like the ones in this class.

Your Teachers

Nick Werber is an integrative coach, educator and writer working in the realms of somatics and the intergenerational impact of trauma within families. He is interested in the profound influence family roles can have on our adult lives and is especially focused on outsider roles: the scapegoat, the black sheep and the lost child of the family.

Nick serves as a board member of The Focalizing Institute 501(c)(3) and received the bulk of his initial training over a decade of mentorship from the institute’s founder and renown somatic psychologist, Dr. Michael Picucci.

To date, he has trained hundreds of somatic coaches and therapists located in 12+ countries how to utilize body-based tools to connect with inner wisdom, address the impact of our stories, and build capacity and resiliency in a world that strongly conditions us to ignore and disconnect from our bodies.

An avid teacher, his work has been viewed across social media over 30 million times.
